Due to dry, windy conditions, there are now fire advisories in effect for some areas across the province.
This is for some areas in Northern, Central and Southern Alberta.
An advisory is an indication that the fire danger rating has increased. Fire permits may be restricted, however Safe campfires are allowed in campgrounds and backcountry or random camping areas.
There are also fire restrictions in effect, including the Municipal District of Fairview, Birch Hills County, Jasper National Park, Drumheller and Starland County.
