Three (3) years commercial cook experience is required. Knowledge and experience of Japanese cuisine is an asset.
Japanese Village Restaurant is a traditional Japanese cuisine mainly offers Japanese Teppanyaki grill. We are located at 317 - 10 Ave. S.W.
We are looking for an experienced cook to join with us. This is a full time permanent position, and we are offering $13.75 per hour based on the experience background.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: minimum 3 years commercial cook experience is required. Knowledge and experience of Japanese cuisine is an asset. Previous Teppanyaki cook experience is highly preferred because this cook position requires cooking on a hot cast-iron surface in front of customers.
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in front of customers, Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, determine size of food portions, and monitor and order supplies, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas
