26 year old Paddle Prairie man charged with Second degree murder

An autopsy on the victim is scheduled for next week in Edmonton

 

 

High Level RCMP have charged a 26 year old year man from Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement with second Degree Murder.

On September 21, Police were called to a firearms complaint at a residence at around 7:30pm.

When they arrived on scene, RCMP found the victim, 28 year old Brett Daniel Sowan, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

RCMP have charged 26-year-old Randall James Cardinal with second degree murder.

The suspect remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in High Level Provincial Court on September 28.
