City of Cold Lake opens playgrounds and parks

The City of Cold Lake started the process of re-opening playgrounds and parks.

After months of being inside, Cold Lake residents can now get fresh air and visit city owned parks.

The city announced on May 21st outdoor parks and playgrounds, including the skatepark are now open for public use.

Though the parks are open, there's currently a limit of 50 people for outdoor gatherings and physical distancing is still in place, which requires people not from the same household to remain at least two mteres apart.

Other outdoor recreational facilities including tennis and pickleball courts are still closed.
