After talking with AHS, Edmonton Heritage Festival will be virtual
After many road blocks the Edmonton Heritage Festival will continue and will provide family fun activities virtually.
The festival would've happened August long weekend in Hawrelak Park, however the new online format includes pavilion pages showcasing performances and recipes, plus videos from UNESCO partners from around the world.
The new Multicultural Month also launched on August 1st, people can buy items from artisans and order food from 40 local restaurants supporting local businesses.
The Executive Director of the Edmonton Heritage Festival Jim Gibbon spoke with Windspeaker Radio.
