Father and son will be tried together in killing two Metis hunters

The two are scheduled to appear in St Paul Court on July 16th for an election and plea

A father and son will be tried together for second degree murder in the killings of two Metis hunters shot on a rural Alberta road.

56 year old Roger Bilodeau and his 36 year old son Anthony are facing two counts of second degree murder.

Anthony Bilodeau was remanded into custody and twice denied bail, he turned himself in to Bonnyville RCMP on March 31st.

He previously entered a not guilty plea and elected a jury trial, however the two are scheduled to be in St. Paul Provincial Court on July 16th for an election and plea.

Roger Bilodeau was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing on June 12th. 

39 year old Jake Sansom and his 57 year old uncle Morris Cardinal were found shot to death outside a parked black 2014 Ram 1500 noth of Glendon on March 28th.
