City of Edmonton wants to hear from youth about what to consider in the development of an Indigenous Culture and Wellness Centre
The City of Edmonton's Steering Committee is looking for two youth to help plan and build an Indigenous Culture and Wellness Centre in Edmonton.
The first action of the EndPoverty Edmonton Road Map is “to design and plan an Indigenous Culture and Wellness Centre”.
As the lead on this keystone action, the City of Edmonton brought together a dynamic committee to guide the initial strategic planning phase of this significant project in the fall of 2017. The Indigenous Culture and Wellness Centre Steering Committee is composed of Indigenous representatives from the EndPoverty Indigenous Circle and City staff members.
After nearly a full year of engagements with many Indigenous Peoples from all walks of life, the ICWC Environmental Scan Report is now complete and ready to be shared!
