More than 300 jobs coming to Maskwacis and Wetaskiwin as a result of water investment

Minister of Indigenous Relations and MLA for Maskwacis-Wetaskiwin Rick Wilson is excited for the jobs being made from this project.

The Maskwacis Wetaskiwin riding will see a significant job increase from a water investment in the community.

A $12,900,000 provincial grant was allocated to extend the regional water pipeline from Ponoka to the Ermineskin Cree Nation, this water line will serve all four Maskwacis bands.

Alberta has invested nearly $150 million to support 55 water and wastewater improvement projects and creating nearly 1,300 jobs.
