Pipe Ceremony held in new MacEwan building

The ceremony took place at the brand new Kihew Waciston Indigenous Centre at MacEwan University

Monday marked the grand opening of the new Kihew Waciston Indigenous Centre at MacEwan University, and to celebrate the opening the centre hosted a pipe ceremony featuring Elder Francis WhiskeyJack.

The  Kihew Waciston Indigenous Centre has many purposes including counselling, addiction treatment and an area to learn about indigenous culture.
