The doors to Grande Prairie's new permanent daytime programming space has officially opened.

Saint Lawrence Centre is located on the main floor of the Street Outreach Centre at 10012 97 A Street across from Rotary House.

Those who visit the building can have a shower, do laundry, or grab some food or coffee. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

The facility expects to serve between 90-110 people per day

"As we added finishing touches today there were alot of mixed emotions; thankfulness for the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie for funding the purchase of the building; comfort knowing the sustainability of the space is managed by the City of Grande Prairie; joy for the life changing encounters with love that will be had; and sorrow for all our friends and family who have passed before this day came"

Jared Gossen, Project Lead with the Saint Lawrence Centre
