TELUS World of Science holds Smudge Ceremony

The ceremony was held to start phase 4 of the Aurora Project

The official smudge ceremony was conducted by Elder Tony Arcand with the purpose of cleansing the construction site and set intentions for the Aurora Project.

The science centre is now flying the Metis and Treaty 6 flags along with the Canadian flag, Elder Arcand also smudged the flags and discussed the relationship between Treaty 6 and the TELUS World of Science.

Hunter Cardinal is the Co-Founder and Director of Story at Naheyawin and spoke with Windspeaker Radio.

The Aurora project is heading into their final phase which is a $40 million expansion and will showcase a whole vision of the science centre.
