Two Week "Circuit Breaker" shutdown implemented in Saddle Lake Cree Nation

The Nation is conducting the shutdown with the guidance and support of AHS and First Nations and Inuit Health Branch.



A two-week ‘circuit breaker’ shut down is underway in the Saddle Lake Cree Nation to combat COVID-19

In a news release on their Facebook page, the Emergency Management team announced only essential services would be available from November 18 to Dec. 2.

As of November 17, there were 41 active cases on the First Nation, with one member in hospital.
