Franklin Mullen

Franklin Mullen is a legendary story teller, drawing from a lifetime spent in the outdoors and living the life. His songs tell stories about his experiences.

Hailing from a musical family in Toronto, and living all over northwestern Ontario, Franklin grew up hearing and playing traditional fiddle tunes, folk tunes and country and western.

In the early 60's, Mullens was in a band called the Pyramids, shortly after that, he was part of a Beatles tribute band called the Phase 3, playing the role of George Harrison.

The Metis singer took a break from professional music but never lost his passion for creating and writing songs.

Windspeaker Radio Spoke with Mullen about growing up in a musical family, and his song " A Fathers Love"
