Harold Horsefall: Orange Shirt Day Calgary

Wear orange and join the City of Calgary on Orange Shirt Day (National Day for Truth & Reconciliation) to commemorate Indian residential school victims, honour survivors, and commit to acting on reconciliation.

The event will include a smudge ceremony, Indigenous speakers, drummers, song & dance, perspectives from Indigenous youth on Orange Shirt Day and discussions on what we all can do to support, and honour the healing journey of survivors and their families. Plus enjoy a free lunch.

Harold Horsefall is the MC for the event and joined CJWE to discuss what you can expect.

If you cannot attend in person, the event will also be livestreamed online. Visit www.calgary.ca/orangeshirtday to learn more.
