Denver Venoit (Ven-wAh) a.k.a. Ole Man Denver or Ole Mad Kidd stopped by the studio to talk up a storm about his music and his latest project the Sunnyside Sessions.
He has quite a unique and interesting sound and he isn't afraid to change things up. Here's where the sound comes from.
He's breaking the mould by changing up the style of music he plays at shows and that comes from years of experience playing live music.

Ole Man Denver isn't only limited to Folk, Blue Grass and Country. He has a lot of experience playing in a genre far removed from what you would maybe think.
Alberta and Canada in General produces some incredible artists that sound so far and foreign and Ole Man Denver has a fun story about that happening to him.
The latest project he's getting on the go is called Sunnyside Sessions. A place where folk artists can go to record something special.
Another future project would be to change up the sound and get more people in Calgary two stepping at least once a month.
