The ATC Cultural Festival will feature family-friendly activities immersed in the Cree and Dene cultures and languages of ATC First Nations. This year’s event will engage, inspire and highlight collaboration, artistic development, mentorship and language revitalization.

This year, over 50 workshops and seminars will be open to the public, while round dances and tea dances, along with community feasts, will be foundational across the four-day festival. Featuring a hand games tournament and attractions for all ages including a fashion show, and some of the best Indigenous artists from the region, this is a must-attend event for the whole family.

“We are happy to announce that the ATC Cultural Festival is back,” said Karla Buffalo, Chief Executive Officer of Athabasca Tribal Council. “This will be a gathering and celebration that welcomes people from all walks of life to experience the traditions, heritage and knowledge of this Indigenous land. ATC members and communities are excited to share these experiences with all the attendees of the festival.”
