2021 Canadian Finals Rodeo returning to Red Deer

CFR47 will take place at Westerner Park in Red Deer from Nov. 3-7

The 47th Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) will return to Red Deer’s Westerner Park this year.

Over five days, all major pro-rodeo events will take place during six performances including Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie-Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. As well, fans can check out Junior Steer Riding, Novice Saddle, Bareback Riding and for the first time ever, Breakaway Roping during select performances.

Officials hope to see everyone get in the CFR spirit and join the celebration by taking in all of the free onsite events each day, including a Cabaret with live music, Buckle Presentations, Contestant Hot-Stoves, Autograph Signings, a First-Class Tradeshow, and more.

Parking is also free, allowing easy come-and-go access to Westerner Park and all of the dining and tourism activities in the central Alberta area.

Individual performance tickets are now on sale at Tickets Alberta.

Up-to-date information on all CFR activities can be found on CFRRedDeer.

Officials note the event will be in full compliance with the Restrictions Exemption Program, requiring attendees to show proof of double vaccination or show proof of negative test. Rapid antigen testing will be available on-site for $40/test.
