The Assembly of First Nations Alberta regional office has released a two-part video series on COVID-19 to address vaccine hesitancy. The first video targeting youth was released in early September, and the second part featuring the voices of Alberta First Nations Knowledge Keepers and Leadership was released earlier today.

"I am honoured to introduce the videos and I urge everyone to listen and take heed of the messages our youth, knowledge keepers, and leadership are sharing with you today, now, more than ever, it is important to stay informed, get vaccinated and protect your community. We will make it through this fourth wave, but only if we pull together and keep each other safe. Wash your hands thoroughly, maintain physical distancing, and if you haven't yet, please, for your loved ones and all your relations, get the vaccine. It's safe. It's effective. It works."

Regional Chief Marlene Poitras
