Alberta goes back to step 1 amid rise of COVID numbers

Alberta will be adding some restrictions due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases

Alberta's Premier Jason Kenney announced today the province would be going back to step 1 of it's 4 step plan due to the increased number of cases.

Kenney did lay out Alberta's path to recovery and what residents could see once more people get vaccinated:

The province confirmed 931 cases over the past 24 hours, with 2,001 total deaths.

There are 10,809 active cases:

  1. Calgary: 5,122
  2. Edmonton: 2,447
  3. North: 1,394
  4. Central: 878
  5. South: 874
