Due to COVID-19 restrictions, group camping is not available and remains closed for the time being
On March 4, Camping reservations for Alberta Parks will open to Albertans.
That day, campers can book individual campsites for bookings up to 90 days in advance. Dates within the 90-day window can be booked the day reservations begin, in addition, comfort camping spots, an alternative to traditional camping, will open for bookings on Mar. 5.
Backcountry camping which includes travelling on foot, bike, horse or by boat, is now open for people to book.
Since the pandemic, Alberta Parks has implemented several measures to reduce the spread of the virus. Shower facilities remain closed, shared sites so half of the picnic tables and fire pits will continue to be closed off.
