Canada Post Says Customers 'Should Expect Delays' After COVID-19 Outbreak This Month

182 employees have tested positive at one facility since Jan. 1

 

If you've ordered something from Canada Post, you may experience some longer than usual delays. 

The facility in Mississauga, which is central to their entire national delivery and processing network, continues to operate, after 182 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since January 1.

The continues to test employees on a voluntary basis since discovering the outbreak. 

The company initially reported 121 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, but after further testing, that number has now risen to 182.*

Physical-distancing, mandatory mask coverings and other safety measures are being enforced during this time.
