Following the successful turnout, Hanson adds that the Métis Fest is for the whole community of Fort McMurray to enjoy..

Hanson says that it’s a great sight to see that the youth from all school districts from the Wood Buffalo area attended the event to enjoy the Métis culture, calling them the “future of Fort McMurray.”
