Edmonton residents rallied together and donated winter clothing for the less fortunate at a weekend event
Edmonton residents helped donate winter clothes for the Hope Mission at a Windermere event on Sunday.
The businesses at Currents of Windermere Town Square partnered with the shelter to host a clothing and donation drive to support the needs of vulnerable Edmontonians as temperatures continue to drop.
Ever since the Hope Mission's winter clothing and supplies warehouse burnt down in October, businesses have been eager to show their support to Hope Mission and those experiencing homelessness.
While the Hope Mission received numerous donations after the fire, Reid said the cold weather is causing the shelter to go through winter clothing and supplies very quickly.
If you'd like to donate you can visit the Hope Mission Edmonton webpage.
