Canada Day Fireworks - Edmonton & Area
Fireworks will light up the sky over Edmonton’s River Valley on July 1 at 11 pm. No viewing is available from Kinsmen Park. Pedestrian access will be unavailable in Kinsmen Park (including trail access), and the High Level and Menzies Bridges after road closures are in effect. Kinsmen playground and picnic areas are closed starting at 6 a.m. on Canada Day.
Each year on July 1, Strathcona County hosts a family-friendly Canada Day celebration at Broadmoor Lake Park. Events vary each year, but activities often include fireworks, live entertainment, scavenger hunts, food courts, canoeing and more.

End your Canada Day festivities with a fireworks show that will surely make your jaws drop. Watch as the night sky above Fort Saskatchewan is illuminated with the most beautiful colors. Catch the show at the Rotary Theatre at 10:45pm.
The City of St. Albert is excited to celebrate Canada Day on July 1 at 11pm! Share your love for Canada with family, friends and neighbours while enjoying a full day of activities and fun. Concert, face painting, games, food trucks, and much more around St. Albert Place and Lions Park. Outdoor movie showings of Encanto presented by Coca-Cola starting at 6pm and 8:30pm.

This year’s Canada Day Celebration is returning to Jubilee Park on July 1 with a full-scale event that will have an increased focus on family and youth activities. The event will incorporate some new features and activities alongside many returning fan favourites, and will conclude with the traditional trio of evening concerts on the Mainstage and a spectacular fireworks display at the end of the night, starting at 11pm.
